JOB TITLE: Defendant Clinical Negligence Solicitor

PQE REQUIRED: 2-6 years PQE

LOCATION: Bristol

SALARY: £Excellent

THE ROLE:

This is a rare opportunity for a driven defendant Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a well-respected team at a top-tier law firm. The appointed Solicitor will join a team of leading experts. The partners within this team are some of the best defendant Clinical Negligence Solicitors in the country and the appointed Solicitor will learn from a wide range of expertise and experience that they have. The Solicitor will handle a complex caseload of high value defendant clinical negligence work on behalf of the NHSLA and MDU. The work will be varied and will include drafting pleadings, preparing witness statements and attending mediation. In addition, it is expected that the appointed defendant Clinical Negligence Solicitor will become involved in business development on behalf of the firm.

THE CANDIDATE:

The ideal Defendant Clinical Negligence Solicitor will have excellent academics and will have completed their training contract at a another leading law firm. The Solicitor will have had considerable experience handling complex clinical negligence claims, including those involving birth and other catastrophic injuries, at another well know firm. This role will include a heavy workload and therefore, it is important that the defendant Clinical Negligence Solicitor works well under pressure and is flexible to be able to meet urgent needs as they arise. Client communication will play a major part in this role and , therefore, the Solicitor should be personable and be able to commutate in a clear and professional way.
