Hays Legal Recruitment are pleased to partner with a well know engineering company on the recruitment of a new Senior Commercial Officer. The role is designed to legally support the procurement and supply chain function with contract negotiations and the provision of advice & support internally to avert risk and ensure compliance. The role also entails the need to ensure that commercial claims are supported and administered correctly whilst designing new processes to ensure contracts are fit for purpose.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for an exceptional individual for this demanding role - you will be degree educated with significant contract law knowledge & experience. Previous experience working within engineering, manufacturing, defence or aerospace would be beneficial although not critical. You will be an inspirational character who is self motivated, credible and professional - this role is sole charge and you must be confident with the characteristics of a natural leader to succeed.
