Your new firm
This established, international law firm are looking for a junior Commercial Associate to join their award-winning team based in Central Bristol. You will joining a Top 50 leading law firm, who offer city quality work, advising on high value, strategically important and often international projects. The firm advises across various sectors, with particular focus on the energy, healthcare, transport, telecoms and financial services, in addition to retail and manufacturing.

Your new role
You will have the opportunity to work on projects in various sectors, with the ability to choose the areas in which you would like to develop your expertise. Work could include advising household name retailers on their sales channels structures (franchises and concessions) and manufacturers on their routes to market, acting for energy retailers and a DNO on a range of commercial and energy regulatory issues and advising clients across the rail sector on including rail franchising, complex procurements and rail regulatory issues. You will be providing high profile clients with strategies to support them with meeting their business objectives; the firm are known for their outstanding expertise in advising on highly complex commercial contracts.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a newly qualified lawyer with a range of commercial law experience gained either at a city, national or large regional law firm recognised for its commercial law practice, or in-house. You will ideally be an NQ-2PQE lawyer; experience within the Energy or Transport sectors would also be advantageous but not essential. You will have excellent communication skills and outstanding attention to detail.
