Interim Commercial Counsel

Your new role

A commercial legal position supporting the General Counsel as part of a collaborative and award-winning legal function. You will draft and negotiate relevant commercial agreements including power purchase agreements. You will also assist in corporate M&A matters on occasion, and contribute across the wider legal function as required. You will be expected to build relationships with different business units and external stakeholders, communicating legal challenges in a succinct manner and approaching everyday with a commercial mindset.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified lawyer with 4+ PQE or equivalent experience and availability to start at short notice. Applications from both UK qualified lawyers and those from other jurisdictions will be considered. You will be an excellent communicator with proven technical ability and stakeholder management skills. You must also have extensive expertise with commercial contracts, particularly power purchase agreements, either within the private or public sectors.
