Deputy Company Secretary - SIG Plc - Sheffield

SIG is a leading distributor of specialist building products in Europe and is a FTSE 350 company. The Group has a product and service offering of significant scale with strong positions in its three core product areas of Insulation and Energy Management, Exteriors and Interiors.

An opportunity has arisen for an ICSA qualified Company Secretary to join the team as Deputy Company Secretary and to be based at their head of office on the outskirts of Sheffield.

Working closely with the Group Company Secretary you will be responsible for the preparation for Board and Committee agendas and papers, monitoring and ensuring compliance with relevant legal requirements and keep internal policies and procedures up-to-date in relation to company secretarial functions. You will also oversee the maintenance of the statutory registers for all UK subsidiary companies and oversee the Group's trade portfolio.

The ideal candidate will be ICSA qualified with a solid company secretarial background and with up-to-date experience in a UK listed Plc environment. You will have a good up-to-date understanding of corporate governance procedures and associated regulatory developments and working knowledge of the Companies Act 2006, Listing Rules and DTRs.
