An outstanding new role for a corporate solicitor who is looking for progression, the opportunity to work closely with major clients and a friendly and experienced team has arisen at a national law firm. The firm is looking for a corporate solicitor to join its Sheffield office in a mid-level role. The firm has a lot to offer in terms of internal opportunities and fantastic salary and benefit packages plus a real focus on maintaining work life balance whilst not compromising on quality of work. There are accelerated career progression prospects and for the right candidate partnership could be offered within 3 - 4 years of joining the firm. Which makes this role is ideal for a solicitor who feels that they would be capable for progression within this time frame, but don't currently have that opportunity awaiting them at their current firm.
Our client is looking for a solicitor who has a good level of corporate experience in their career so far. The ideal range of PQE would be between 2-7 years, but this is purely a guideline and candidates form outside this range will be considered.
As you start the role you will work on a range of corporate matters, and also provide some assistance to the more junior members of the team, along with working on the highest value and more complex matters with the partners in the team. As you progress you will get the chance to develop your own caseload and lead high value and complex matters yourself.
The clients that you will be exposed to form the start will be a real mixture of strong regional businesses and national and multinational companies. The firm is highly regarded in the local area but you will also be thoroughly be supported in developing further local and national work for the firm.
