Our Firm’s Family/Public Law Department is undergoing something of a change. Our Senior Partner is aiming for partial retirement over the next few years and we have a Solicitor about to depart upon maternity leave for several months.  We therefore need to recruit to assist during this transformation and become a major part of the Department in the future. The Department is a significant part of our Firm and maintaining its future at a high level is important to us.

The successful candidate will have experience in publicly funded care work, but not necessarily more than a few years. Accreditation to the Children Panel will be an advantage but not essential. The aim will be for the growth of knowledge and experience within the existing team.

A desire and willingness to undertake advocacy will also be an advantage.
