PI Lawyer

PI Lawyer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a PI Lawyer to join a law firm in their Manchester office to deal with a caseload of predominantly PI/Accidents abroad (foreign jurisdiction) fast track/multi-track cases but may include a small proportion of other multi-track and/or specialist type cases under supervision on a 1 year contract.

The successful PI Lawyer will have:

• Sound theoretical knowledge of PI work, some of which may include foreign jurisdiction and be able to conduct cases, including complex cases, from beginning to end. Training will be given on foreign jurisdiction cases.

• An ability to conduct and manage all aspects of a caseload, including taking appropriate daily decisions involving considerable exercise of judgment, subject to supervision.

• At least 2 years’ experience of handling a full caseload of PI claims including multi track and more complex claims.

• Experience of meeting deadlines with a minimum of supervision.

• Direct contact with clients, face to face and over the phone.

Salary Circa £52,000
