Securitisation Paralegal

Colchester

6-12 month FTC

A new position has become available for our clients law firm based in Colchester. They are currently seeking a Securitisation Paralegal to join them on a fixed term contract with a view of being made permanent after the contract.

The role will be to provide support to all areas of the business as required. You will be supporting the Solicitor supervising you in the securitisation team with specific tasks allocated on their files. This will include but may not be limited to: identifying Titles, obtaining Official Copy Entries and Office Copy Documents from the Land Registry Link, carrying out Searches, obtaining items from Local Authorities, chasing for outstanding items, carrying out pre-completion Land Registry Searches and dealing with post-completion matters.

I am looking for a candidate that has previously studied the law degree having obtained a 2:1 or higher. Candidates that have completed their masters will be seen to have an advantage. All candidates must have previous Property experience either as a paid job or work experience whilst at university.

The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, tenacious, team player and have good communication skills. You must have the ability to work independently and be able to manage the workloads confidently.
