Job Details
Commercial Property Paralegal
My client is in need of a commercial property paralegal to be based in the Portsmouth office. The firm is a large and prestigious firm and is proudly accredited by Lexcel, the Law Society's Quality Practice kite mark and is highly regarded by Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 legal directories.
The commercial property team specialises in investment, landlord and tenant, development and property finance. You will be working for a range of clients including businesses and private individuals, public bodies and charities, SIPP and SSAS pension trustees and their customers.
You will be dealing with:
*File opening and compliance procedures (including conflict checks, money laundering checks and client care letters)
*Running own caseload of varying value and complexity (including preparing contract packages, exchanging contracts, completing sales and liaising with housebuilder clients and purchasers' solicitors)
*Post completion work (which may include dealing with sales, purchases, leases, licences, deeds and other commercial property transactions)
*File closures
*Assist the Team's solicitors with all aspects of Property Development work
*Providing a high level of client care to a wide range of clients
*Other paralegal, administrative and secretarial tasks, as requested.
You will be highly motivated, efficient, have excellent organisational skills, great attention to detail and looking for an opportunity to join and provide valuable support to, a progressive and hard working Team. Previous property experience would be desirable but not essential.
