Superb opportunity for an experienced clinical negligence solicitor to join a well known national firm with a noted defendant clinical negligence team.

You will be an associate or senior associate conducting clinical negligence claims on behalf of a range of defendant clients and
working in a team that provides a range of high quality legal services on complex matters.

The department manages the full range of Clinical Negligence claims including birth injuries, cosmetic surgery claims, orthopaedic injury, ophthalmic, eye surgery and nursing care claims.

Clinical Negligence Solicitors will manage their own caseload from inception to conclusion; the successful candidate will deal with serious injury cases.

You may also have the opportunity to become involved with healthcare inquest and advisory work.

With your background in delivering exceptional client service, including proactive, strategic and commercial management of
claims you will manage your own caseload including high value and complex claims in accordance with client
requirements and SLAs.

There will be some supervisory duties in association with this role, assisting colleagues with claims, especially those that need attention and cover during absence , secondments and holiday.

You will be technically strong with an excellent academic background, ideally 2:1 degree or equivalent and you will be fully conversant with all IT systems.

Your attention to detail skills will be absolutely paramount in this role with the ability to explain/advise clients on complex technical aspects of process
and procedure and also manage their expectations with regards to timescales.

Defendant clinical negligence background is required however applications will be considered from claiamnt catastrophic solicitors with excellent academics and a city or large regional background.

You should have upwards of 4 years PQE and be an enthusiastic team player who forges relations with team members at all levels to progress their own career succesfully.
