You're new role

This job opportunity exists to work closely with our Group In-house Counsel on all aspects of our legal services to both internal and external customers across our global nanotechnology business, with a particular focus on APAC (China and Taiwan). 

Working closely with the Group In-house Counsel in our Milton Park office in Oxfordshire you will work on a wide variety of commercial contracts that include but are not limited to: NDAs, IP licenses, review and drafting of supplier contracts, consultancy agreements, agency agreements etc. From time to time, additional support around data protection, regulatory work, corporate support and IP management may also be required. 

What you'll need to succeed 

You will be a qualified solicitor 5-8+ PQE with proven commercial contracts experience (NDAs, IP licenses, review and drafting of supplier contracts, consultancy agreements, agency agreements etc) ideally working for an international company, dealing with cross-border issues (particularly in APAC is desirable). You will work on a number of key accounts independently within the team supported by both internal and external counsel. 

Must have: 

  • Qualified Solicitor 5-8+ years PQE
  • Commercial Contracts experience (NDAs, IP licenses, review and drafting of supplier contracts, consultancy agreements, agency agreements etc)
  • IT /Technology sector experience
  • APAC experience
  • Data Protection

Desirable:

  • APAC language skills
  • Intellectual Property portfolio management
  • Patents
  • Chemistry sector experience
