Family/Child Care Locum sought for an immediate start on an on-going contract basis within commutable distance of parts of Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex.

The Role
We are now seeking a dynamic Family/Child Care Lawyer to join our clients’ thriving practice in Suffolk on a locum basis. Hitting the ground running with an existing caseload, the successful Lawyer will handle all aspects of matrimonial and children matters from beginning to end to include: divorce; financial remedy; domestic violence; private law Children Act applications; separation agreements; civil partnerships; pre and post nuptial agreements and; child care proceedings. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills are essential for the position.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE gained within a reputable Family department.
You must have excellent technical skills with expertise covering private and publicly-funded matrimonial matters and public law child care.
You will have excellent client care and communication skills across all levels.
You will be a confident advocate with the ability to negotiate settlements.
You will be able to manage a full and varied caseload with minimal supervision.
Immediate availability for an on-going contract is essential.
