Based in Newbury with travel required across Berkshire and Oxfordshire
The Public Protection Partnership is in the process of setting up a new Joint Case Management Unit in conjunction with Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Authority and Oxfordshire County Council. We are now seeking an experienced lawyer to carry out case management functions as part of the unit.
The aim of the unit will be to provide high quality case management support in respect of general crime and regulatory investigations. This will include evidential analysis, the provision of advice to OIC’s, advising on procedural applications and disclosure etc.
The successful candidate will be a qualified lawyer with experience in crime and regulatory law including significant knowledge of some or all of the law enforced by trading standards, environmental health, licensing and fire and rescue services. An in-depth understanding of legal framework governing investigations is also essential.
