Private Client Solicitor

My client is one of the South West's leading law firms and currently has a requirement for a Private Client Solicitor (NQ-3 years PQE) to join their Bath office.

They are now looking to appoint a NQ Solicitor into their Private Client team based in Bath. This is a permanent, full-time role, offering excellent benefits and opportunity to develop with a growing team, therefore great opportunity to make your mark, and to progress swiftly up the career ladder!

Your main responsibilities will involve supporting team members in taking instructions from clients and acting on behalf of clients to bring the matter to satisfactory conclusion. You will also be expected to participate in the marketing of the team, to promote the team, to maintain and develop existing client relationships, to support the team with marketing activities and to attract new clients as well as aiming to achieve billing and chargeable hours targets, to control disbursements and debt.

You will be confident in contributing to the implementation of the team's, and ultimately the firm's, business plan and to achieve the goals and objectives insofar as they relate to the fee earner as set or envisaged by the Plan.

The ideal candidate will possess a Law degree or equivalent - Preferably 2:1 degree and have experience in your training contract of Succession and tax. You will domonstrate good analytical and research skills; thinks laterally in relation to solving legal problems; Understands information and processes without the need for supervision and consider tasks with meaning and challenges appropriately.
