EL/PL Paralegal

My client is recruiting for a permanent role within their public sector defendant personal injury team in Bristol. The purpose of this role is to run a case load of predominantly EL and PL casualty claims stemming from the public sector, such as housing associations, schools, councils etc. with a value up to £50,000 .

The role will involve running a varied case load of litigated work with the appropriate levels of supervision. These will be mainly public sector cases, involving the likes of defective premises, occupiers liability and landlord and tenant claims.

You will be required to hit, maintain and apply a consistent approach to all individual targets of financial performance, realisation rates, settlement rate and average claim spend and support marketing and business development activity within the team e.g. attending marketing events and client training.

You will be responsible for your own caseload, including accuracy and timeliness of management reporting and information while maintaining an awareness of firm's procedures and strategies

Applications will be accepted from paralegals with some experience of running a case load of EL and/or PL claims either for the Defendant or Claimant. You will possess a keen interest and enthusiasm for injury work and the demands of clients.

Experience in public sector work either on behalf of Defendant or Claimant would be beneficial but not essential.
