Commercial Property Partner

A lovely Scunthorpe based firm is looking to recruit a commercial property lawyer within a succession planning role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to accelerate their career and personal development by joining within a partner designate role. The firm is well known and well established in the area - they are very highly regarded and have a base of clients much stronger than you would typically expect of the region.
The opportunity with this role is in addition to picking up an existing caseload of commercial property matters, there is also a view to get this person helping to run the firm within a few years. The current partner aims to retire and step down to a consultant, therefore giving the perfect opportunity and path for someone to take this role on. The transition period is well thought through, gives plenty of time for handovers and there will be ample support when making this transition.
The Role
Existing commercial property caseload and client base
Caseload ranges from straight forward landlord and tenant matters right through to large scale projects, high end development work, large industrial schemes and much more
Clients include local OMBs and SMEs however the firm also act for national businesses too
Lots of opportunity for progression and a clear career path

The Candidate
At least 3 PQE, or equivalent experience
Strong commercial property experience
As well as having commercial property experience, it would be highly beneficial if candidates had experience of handling an element of private client work such as tax and estate planning however this certainly isn't essential
The role will involve management so previous experience would be beneficial, however once again not essential
You must be a strong communicator with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
