Conveyancing Assistant - Northampton

A law firm specialising in property law is looking to recruit a conveyancing assistant/paralegal to their successful residential property department.

The successful candidate will either hold legal qualifications such as a law degree and be looking to kick start their career in this specialized area of law or alternatively may have some experience of working within a property department in their current or previous roles and be looking for a forward thinking firm in which they can progress their career.

You will be exposed to the full range of residential conveyancing matters within the team and will be assisting at various stages of the transaction performing duties such as opening and closing files, completing relevant forms and paperwork and liaising with clients and other parties when required to keep them updated with regards to their transaction and working alongside the fee earners and other assistants ensuring the department is run smoothly.

A good eye for detail and excellent organisational skills are required to be successful in this role and you must be a confident communicator. As your experience and knowledge of conveyacing grows further opportunities and responsibilities will be made available to you so this could be the prefect role for those looking to give their careers an early boost and climb up the career ladder within a thriving area of law working alongside a supportive and friendly team that will provide all the ongoing training needed to ensure you develop your skills.
