Job Details
A legal associate/contracts paralegal is sought by an international pharmaceuticals organisation in Cambridge on a permanent basis.
The position of legal associate reports to the Head of the team, interacting with key business areas on matters including contracts management and transacting of commercial agreements, some of which will include confidentiality, procurement and consultancy agreements. The successful candidate will review and approve sales and marketing and medical affairs materials; and provide support to those businesses on legal and compliance matters. They will also support senior lawyers on business development transactions. As part of the European legal team, the legal associate will assist on legal and compliance issues; and as part of the wider organisation, be prepared to undertake legal research and litigation support, when needed.
Applicants to this Cambridge based role, will have experience of contract law gained from either the LLB, LPC, BVC or CILEx, with ideally an interest in, or prior experience of, the healthcare/pharmaceuticals industry. Previous experience and knowledge of ABPI, IP, Data Protection, Commercial Contracts and Competition law would be desirable.
