We've asked Sasha Kum six key questions to help put a face to the name and give you a hint of his expertise.

1. How long have you worked at the Law Society?

I’ve now been with the Law Society as an account manager for two years since September this year.

2. What is the biggest recruitment challenge your clients are currently facing?

The biggest challenge amongst my clients currently is adapting to the current climate having to work to more short term targets and objectives without looking too far ahead due to uncertainty within the market.

 3. What are the main mistakes clients make when recruiting a new role?

I would say it’s important to ensure to be candidate-centric, the details of the role are of course essential but you should be sure to include information relating to what might be in it for the candidate i.e. the benefits, anything appealing about the location; it’s important to think about what you have to offer that a candidate may find appealing, this can influence a response and give you the edge if the candidate is looking at the same role with another firm/company.

 4. What is the one most important piece of advice you have for clients currently recruiting?

It’s important to include all relevant information in your advert, covering all areas will bring about the best results. Using our guide tips on how to write an effective job ad will ensure all relevant info is included in your ad.

5. What three words would you use to describe working in legal recruitment?

Intriguing, informative, engaging.

6. What is your favourite food to eat?

I love Mediterranean food.
