Liverpool City Region Combined Authority

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority was created in 2014 and became a Mayoral Combined Authority in 2017.  This introduced a new layer of governance into the City Region and is part of increased regional devolution by the Government.  Significant sums of money have been granted to the Combined Authority to support regeneration and projects that transform the City Region.
