Planning Law Specialist

A new opportunity has arisen, which offers unrivalled prospects for a Planning Law specialist. You will be involved in a diverse and interesting range of work for clients with interests and concerns in issues such as green belt land; regeneration and development; affordable housing; listed buildings;  change of use; energy, transport and infrastructure projects. 

You will play a key, client-facing role requiring gravitas and excellent organisational and communication skills.  As well as managing free-standing instructions and projects for clients, the role will also involve you working closely and providing specialist support to the Real Estate, Construction and Litigation teams. 

The nature of the role requires not less than 3 years’ pqe (or equivalent) in terms technical skills required and applications from both local authority and private practice backgrounds.  We would also be delighted to hear from potentially interested parties at partner/partner designate level. 

Previous experience should include most if not all: 

•    Compulsory Purchase Orders
•    Applications and Objections on Planning Permissions 
•    Appeals, Reviews and Inquiries 
•    Section 106 and section 278 agreements
•    Highways closures
•    Environment compliance issues
