The Opportunity

A highly regarded regional firm is seeking an experienced and ambitious Immigration Solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE to join their Chelmsford office. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-established and forward-thinking firm with a strong reputation for delivering expert legal services.

With a varied caseload and a growing client base, the role offers both challenge and reward. You'll work within a supportive team environment, handling diverse and interesting immigration matters while building long-term client relationships.

The Role

As an Immigration Solicitor, you will provide expert advice and representation on a wide range of immigration matters, including:

• Family immigration cases, including spouse and partner visas, and applications for dependant relatives.
• Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) and British Citizenship applications.
• Complex cases under the Global Talent and High Potential Individual (HPI) schemes.
• EU Settlement Scheme matters and private life or human rights applications.
• Visitor, student, and Youth Mobility Scheme (T5) visas.
• Immigration appeals and judicial reviews.

You'll also have the opportunity to grow the firm's immigration practice, working closely with other teams to attract and retain clients across Essex and beyond.

About You:

• At least 2 years PQE in immigration law with a strong technical background.
• Annual performance bonuses.
• Experience managing a diverse caseload with minimal supervision.
• An excellent communicator who can build trust and rapport with clients.
• Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle deadlines effectively.
• Ambitious and enthusiastic about contributing to the firm's continued success.
