Job Details
Our client are a modern and extremely progressive top tier, Legal 500 law firm that is supportive and takes great pride in developing the lawyers that join them.
They have grown substantially over the last 10 years to a turnover of £9m and over 50 fee earners and are now a Top 200 UK Law firm with a strong business plan of further future growth and development, aiming to double in size in the next five years.
They now wish to add a Solicitor or Legal Executive to their Court of Protection team.
Their highly regarded Private Client team is seeking an experienced COP Lawyer with a minimum of 1 year PQE. The role will involve dealing with complex, high value estates together with;
Running of files and working with the Deputy in dealing with the Court of Protection, The OPG, the individual and their family to establish long-term relationships and to ensure all decisions are made in their best interests.
Preparation of general Court Applications.
Preparation of Statutory Will Applications
Represent the Deputy at Court of Protection Hearings
Investigate suspicions of Financial Abuse
