The Council is looking for a senior property lawyer with at least five years’ relevant experience in property law including the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold residential and commercial property.  The post-holder will be required to provide advice in relation to major and complex project work, as well as routine conveyancing transactions, and therefore knowledge of procurement and contract law either in a public or private sector environment is likely to be useful.  The post-holder will be the leader of the small Corporate Services team with four direct reports.  He or she will report to the Chief Solicitor, Bernice Elgot 01423 500600 Extension 58248 to whom any enquiries should be addressed.
