IPSEA is a registered National charity (number 327691) giving free and independent legally based information, advice and support to make sure that children and young people with all kinds of special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) get the right education.

An exceptional person is required to change the lives of children and young people with SEND by leading and developing IPSEA.

First rate legal skills and extensive management experience are needed to further build this small renowned legal charity.  

Experience of representing parents at the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal and/or legal practice in the fields of education law, social welfare law or public law is needed.

The Chief Executive will have overall responsibility for managing the performance of IPSEA and ensuring that all our services have the quality and breadth of expertise that families of children and young people with SEND continue to need. Our new Chief Executive will advocate on behalf of children and young people with SEND.
