Housing Solicitor

Are you an experienced Housing Disrepair Solicitor looking to join a multi-service law firm based near Manchester city centre who are looking to establish and grow a new department?

Your role as Housing Solicitor will be to work alongside the Head of Operations in the set-up, management and growth of their new housing department. Housing is an area of work that will be new to the firm and an area which they are looking to expand rapidly. 

Initially concentrating on the housing disrepair market, you will be responsible for providing a plan for the implementation of a sustainable and efficient structure. In addition, you will meet compliance standards in line with the firms Lexcel accreditation. Once the department is up and running, your role will be to undertake the day to day management of the department/team and handle a caseload of housing disrepair cases.

You will likely be a Housing Solicitor with 5+ years PQE and demonstrable current/recent experience in housing disrepair. In addition, you will be a strong litigator and have a proven track record in managing and leading a team. Whilst ideally the firm are looking for a qualified Housing Solicitor, they will consider non-qualified Lawyers as it is the experience that is essential.

The successful Housing Solicitor will be rewarded with a competitive salary (guideline up to £45,000) with on-site parking and additional benefits package.
