Job Details
I am currently seeking an experienced criminal duty solicitor on a full time basis based in Newport, Gwent.
As a Criminal Duty Solicitor you will undertake criminal defence work, to provide legal advice and assistance / representation of suspects at the police station, represent defendants before the Magistrates’ Court and preparation of their cases.
The ideal candidate should have a Duty Solicitor slot and must be willing to participate in the out-of-hours police station rota working evenings and weekends sometimes.
Higher Rights of Audience would be advantageous, but are not essential.
