You will have a good understanding of privately and publicly-funded proceedings and experience in supervising and mentoring junior members of the team. This role is based in the Northampton office although you will also be attending hearings at courts in neighbouring counties. The firm is looking for a candidate with excellent client care skills, with the ability to explain complex matters in clear, empathetic language, robust advocacy skills with the determination to do the very best for your clients. You will:-
Be an experienced family solicitor of at least 5 years’ PQE, or a similarly experienced legal executive;
Ideally, have accreditation in family mediation, be a member of Resolution or similar;
Possess excellent client care skills, with an empathetic approach and the ability to explain complex matters in clear, accessible language;
Be a robust and determined litigator.
