Locum Adult Social Care Solicitor

An excellent opportunity for a Locum Adult Social Care Solicitor has arisen in the West Midlands. The assignment is offered for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of extension. This is a full time position.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with previous experience specialising in Adult law, ideally from a Local Authority background.

The duties for this role are as follows;

• Handling a caseload of complex adult social care matters with minimal supervision
• Judicial Reviews, both pre-action and in proceedings in respect of a wide variety of adult social care matters
• Providing advice to clients on legal matters
• Drafting a variety of legal documents to include applications and letters

The position offers a daily rate of £30 - £40 per hour which will be dependant on experience. This could be negotiable.
