Compliance Manager , Northamptonshire
A compliance manager is required to join an ambitious firm to operate in a non-fee earning capacity.
The expectation here is that you will have previous fee earning experience, either as a solicitor, legal executive or licensed conveyancer and you would be significantly interested and enthused by the compliance and due diligence side of matters that you would be happy to work in such a capacity, driving the business standards forward in line with the CLC regulations that firms have to adhere to.
Any previous managerial or compliance experience with relation to property matters would be considered favourably.
You should have a working knowledge of anti-money laundering, professional conduct and data protection matters and be able to deliver training to staff on these matters.
The firm are on a real drive to attract and nurture the best and most talented conveyancers around and because the firm is on various national panels the sources of work are plentiful and of good quality. So the back end of he business, the quality control elements also require the best available staff on board and there is career progression available in these fields also.

Working in a small and very busy team you will be responsible for the initial assessment of the risks involved in acting for a proposed client, escalating your comments or concerns to senior members of the team, as appropriate.
You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to appropriately handle any difficult calls from internal customers, escalating to senior members of the team, as appropriate. You will be a keen team player and be passionate about adhering to professional conduct rules and the maintenance of high standards.
