Private Client Solicitor

A fantastic new role has arisen with an award winning firm based in Newcastle who is looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor into their profound department. The firm is happy to consider part time (4 days a week) OR full time applicants for this role, so if you are looking for some flexibility in your work life, then this role could be for you.

This role offers the opportunity to join a successful and highly respected Law Firm currently experiencing prolonged growth in the area of Private Client. Due to their success, the team have a high influx of work and as such, require the support of a full or part time, experienced Solicitor with expertise in wills, trusts, probate and lasting power of attorney.

This is an ideal opportunity to gain valuable experience in a working with a small team of experts in this field of Law. The role will be varied and interesting covering all aspects of the discipline.

The Role:

You will manage a full and challenging case load with minimal supervision whilst also being prepared to work collaboratively with other members of the Department/the Firm on larger, more complex matters. Your caseload will consist of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection, Trusts, and the administration of estates ranging from modest to complex high net worth matters.

You will also have the opportunity to assist in complex and large scale matters.

Business Development and working closely with the local community to develop the reputation of the firm through local businesses will also be an aspect to this role.

The Candidate:

The firm is ideally looking to recruit a Newly Qualified Solicitor or someone who has a few years experience behind them, however this is used as a rough guideline and the firm is happy to consider applicants who have the right experience.

Whether you are looking to work full or part time, the firm is happy to be flexible in order to suit you.

You will be confident in handling your own caseload with minimum supervision.

STEP membership is preferred but not essential
