Paralegal/ Legal Assistant (Winchester)

Hays Legal Recruitment is delighted to be working alongside a Top 100 law firm with a turnover in excess of £35m and 400 staff in their range of offices across the country. Being a firm that focuses on the legal services towards Health, Social care and Housing sectors as well as Professional Discipline; it allows them have a range of clients from NHS Organisations to governmental and regulatory services.
Your new role
You will be working alongside the main fee earners within the team to assist them on all aspects of their caseload. Your duties will tend to include undertaking research, preparing bundles for court, drafting routine correspondence, court applications and statements under supervision. As well as this you will be involved in the general case management and any other duties when requested.
What you'll need to succeed
As a recent law graduate your most recent experience in similar work will lead to further success within this firm. You will be a self-motivated, proactive, well organised individual who has an attention for detail. Ideally you will already hold the LPC or BVC qualification to help improve your abilities on the job. As an individual having good communication, administration and IT skills will be essential. If you have previous experience in social housing, it may be of an advantage but is not necessarily essential.
