Our client is a thriving mid-tier Leeds firm with an impressive growth record in the last couple of years and which enjoys good profile in Leeds.

Already possessing a strong Corporate team the firm is presently looking for a key appointment of a junior NQ Corporate Solicitor to work directly in support of partners. Consequently your workload will be varied and will span a range of client sectors, but you will benefit from learning from a number of more experienced practitioners. For a relatively junior corporate lawyer this represents a uniquely stimulating and challenging opportunity if you are wanting plenty of client contact.

The firm contains a good number of lawyers who've been with national firms, so candidates looking to move away from the pressures of PLC work and into more of an SME/OMB client base should be interested. Remuneration will be competitive to attract candidates from reputable firms. They look for a minimum 2:1, and ideally experience acting for quality clients in a well respected team. Minimum 6 months Corporate exposure as a Trainee is not essential as this is a role where the firm will fully re-train a candidate who has no UK corporate transactional experience.

Given the level of the position the firm is quite prepared to consider relocating candidates who meet the description above, so candidates who've been practicing elsewhere in the UK (including in London) will be of interest if they have a demonstrable connection to Leeds.
