Private Client Solicitor

My client currently has a fantastic opportunity an experienced Solicitor (0-5 PQE) to join their dedicated Contested Wills, Trusts and Estates team in Southampton.

The team is top ranked with an enviable reputation in the market. The Contested Wills, Trusts and Estates team are noted experts in the full range of contentious private client matters including Inheritance Act claims, contentious probate and will disputes, equitable claims, onshore and offshore trust disputes and Court of Protection disputes.

They act on behalf of individuals, professional executors, trust corporations and multinational banks.

The successful candidate will handle the full range of contested will, trust and estate work and will also be expected to assist with and contribute to business development initiatives.

It is important that you are a highly ambitious, motivated and target driven individual who is comfortable working within a team and also on your own. You will be expected to handle your own caseload and so it is important that you have demonstrated previous experience in successfully doing so.

The ideal candidate will have specialised in contentious wills, trusts and estates or will have considerable experience of managing a mixed case load of litigated files. Previous experience of management or supervision of a team would be advantageous.

ACTAPS and/or STEP qualifications are desirable.
