The Role
A rare opportunity has now arisen for a technically brilliant Court of Protection Lawyer to join a specialist team based in the Twickenham area. With solid experience across the full spectrum of Court of Protection matters, the successful Lawyer will manage a complex and challenging caseload, with minimal supervision. Duties will include: advising clients on care home costs and benefits; making applications to the Court of Protection; acting as a professional deputy; Local Authority funding; the preparation of annual accounts to the Office of the Public Guardian and; providing guidance to lay deputies. In addition, the successful Lawyer will be keen to immerse themselves within business development and marketing initiatives and travel to the practices other offices where required. The Candidate
You must be a Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2-3 years’ PQE;
You will be technically brilliant with solid experience in Court or Protection matters;
You will have excellent communication and client care skills;
You will have your own workload and be able to work with minimal supervision;
You will work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative;
You will have a flair for business development and marketing.
