Adult Social Services Lawyer required to join a local authority based in North London for an initial 3 month period.

The successful candidate will be handling a busy caseload of adult matters for this large local authority. It is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a busy London Council, and would suit an ambitious lawyer, with a passion for public law.

You will manage a busy caseload of adult social services matters. Day to day work will include;
* Court of Protection
* Ordinary residence and
* Deprivation of liberty
* Advice work

The desired candidate will have experience of handling public law adult matters. Advocacy is not required for this role due to the authority instructing counsel, however those that are willing would have the opportunity to undertake this. Candidates will require the ability to demonstrate working knowledge of the Care Act 2014.

Experience of working for a local authority would be advantageous but not essential, although candidates must have experience of handling public law matters
