Salary - £59,226 to £70,079 per annum

Plus £5300 Annual Allowance as Monitoring Officer

We are looking for a top class solicitor with strong interpersonal skills to lead and develop our Legal Services team. The post holder will provide advice and guidance to the Corporate Management Team and elected members on a wide range of legal matters. Additionally, the candidate will manage arrangements with external lawyers when their expertise is required and take the role of Monitoring Officer.

You will be responsible for the general management of the service ensuring that the Council receives high quality and timely legal advice to ensure that the Council meets its legal obligations.
