Lexcel accredited practice requires a Family Lawyer in the Bedfordshire area.

Our client is a niche practice providing excellent services in Bedford and the surrounding counties. With multiple office locations, they are staffed with experienced professionals who have many years of expertise in their individual fields. They are now seeking a Family Lawyer to help develop the department. With great empathy, they pride themselves in providing tailored serviced to suit individual client needs, earning them Lexcel accreditation and other awards. They are located within easy reach of good transport links into the city and further afield.

A new opportunity has arisen for a Family Lawyer within a well-established firm in Bedford. You will ideally be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or a Paralegal with solid experience in family mediation. Working within a specialist team, you will be able to handle varied caseload working well to meet tight deadlines. Your duties will include: divorce; civil partnerships; mediation; children matters; domestic violence; cohabitation disputes; ancillary relief and; separation agreements. The successful Lawyer will be proactive whilst ensuring high levels of client care at all times. The role is offered on a full time permanent basis, but are open to part time applications as well.

You must be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Paralegal with a minimum of two years PQE within a family department;
You must be an accredited Family Mediator or in the process of gaining the accreditation;
Resolution membership is advantageous;
You will have excellent client care skills;
You will have good communication skills both verbal and written;
You will be detail oriented.
