PQE REQUIRED: 5+
We are currently looking to interview and short-list Employment Solicitors to join this outstanding Employment Group based at the firms London office. Whilst the firm are flexible on PQE level, it is envisaged that the skills and experience required will most likely be held by a solicitor with 5 - 8 years PQE. The Employment Group is independently recognised as one of the best and most experienced teams in the country. The role encompasses helping finance directors, HR teams and in-house employment solicitors of major UK and international companies to avoid employment conflicts and save money so that they can focus on managing their workforce more effectively.
The appointed Employment Solicitor will ideally have gained 5-8 years employment law experience in either a large commercial legal, City or international firm. You will currently be building up market knowledge and contacts and with specific experience of dealing with strategic employment law advice, cross-border issues and senior executive/board room issue, ideally with experience in High Court litigation, injunctive proceedings and team moves/restrictive covenant advice. Must have the ability to provide practical, speedy, pragmatic and tailored commercial advice to clients, along with commercially acceptable solutions. Given the exposure to senior City clients, the Employment Solicitor will be confident dealing directly with senior individuals. A team player with the ability to train and supervise more junior lawyers, with excellent communication skills and a systematic approach to every day tasks.
