This role would be ideal for an ambitious 5 years + PQE Associate. Candidates must have TUPE experience, so I'm looking to speak with transactional-focused employment Solicitors, rather than advisory or continuous. In this role, the chosen Employment Solicitor will work with all the firms' big ticket and blue-chip clients and they'll expect you to 'hit the ground running' and to lead these transactions.
The Employment Solicitor will maintain client relationships, contribute to business development, while raising your own profile and supporting the continued growth of the practice. Working with an interesting variety of clients across all sectors (including many household names) this role would be suitable for those looking to build on their current experience and gain exposure to high quality employment work and progress their career with a multi-national law firm. There is flexibility around working hours and 4 or 5 days per week will be considered.
The successful candidate will have: -
- Solid experience/ broad understanding of legal principles as well as having worked in an established and recognised Employment Department.
- Excellent client care skills and be keen on maintaining/ developing new business.
- Experience of training seminars and workshop programmes for employers will be an advantage.
- Commercial acumen.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and be a keen relationship builder.
