Prosecutions Locum required to join a local authority based in London. This role has arisen due to a permanent member of staff leaving the team, therefore our client is looking for a locum to join them for an initial 6 month period whilst they implement a new structure.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a team who are very accommodating of their employees, allowing working from home 1 day per week where suitable. Our client is happy to consider locums at either paralegal or lawyer level for this role, and the rate of pay will vary dependent upon experience.
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of prosecutions matters. These may include blue badge and non school attendance cases.
Depending on the candidate's ability, this position could enable you to undertake advocacy, which would take place once a fortnight, or to instruct counsel.
You will be joining a prestigious organisation, which has an excellent reputation amongst local government. Nearby transport links make this easily commutable from throughout London.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Chelsey Newsom in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
