Your new company

This company is a well-established law firm with offices in Exeter and London. They are a City-led international and national law firm. They are part of the UK Top 15 Real Estate practices and have a range of clients in both the private and public sector. They are seeking a Residential Property Paralegal to join their Exeter office.

Your new role

As a Residential Property Paralegal you will be working with the property team. This will involve you working closely with the Housing and Regeneration, Commercial Property and Private Client teams. You will be dealing with a caseload of matters for private clients including: house and flat, sales and purchases and buy-to-let properties. You will be assisting with due diligence exercises and carrying out research. Your new role will also involve proof reading documents, attending meetings and ensuring all files are managed in compliance with Lexcel procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

You will possess the ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines, you will need to be a strong team player and have a positive and proactive attitude. You will have a strong attention to detail with a methodical and logical approach. This role will allow you to work autonomously with minimum supervision so you will need to be a self-starter. You will required to have a good academic record including a being a 2:1 or above graduate in law (or non-law degree with GDL).
