The nature of the role will appeal to an Insolvency Lawyer who enjoys focusing on contentious insolvency and litigation proceedings. Forming part of a larger team, the person appointed will work closely with the departmental head. You will be provided with excellent mentoring supporting the partner on particularly complex cases whilst also managing your own caseload and clients.

Providing a comprehensive insolvency and restructuring service, the team is retained by a diverse range of clients and regularly attracts high profile and substantial litigation cases. You will enjoy advising creditors, insolvency practitioners, directors & shareholders, individuals and corporate clients. The team offers a wealth of expertise. Typical instructions include:

  • Formal insolvency, liquidation and bankruptcy proceedings,
  • Advising trustees, liquidators and administrators,
  • Investigations of asset disposals and antecedent transactions,
  • Misfeasance and breach of duty claims,
  • Asset recoveries,
  • Director Disqualification proceedings,
  • Liens and Chargers
