Commercial Property Solicitor - Sudbury - Suffolk - 5 years + PQE

Lexcel Accredited, well respected and traditional high street firm.

This role would suit someone with the experience to come in and manage a caseload made up of a wide range of commercial property matters including acquisitions and disposals, commercial leases, development work, estate management, property finance and compulsory land purchases. The department acts for clients across many sectors meaning you will be exposed to a wide range of interesting work.

The firm tries to promote a family feel and area of a nice size to be able to be able to do this with around 40 members of staff (3 of which specialise in commercial property). Many of their staff stay there for many years, with several spending their whole career with the firm due to the opportunities to progress up to senior and partnership positions and whoever joins will enjoy similarly good progression prospects.

The role would suit a property solicitor looking for more of a traditional client focused role within a high street type firm where you can have regular contact with your clients within a small and friendly team and the chance to build up and maintain strong and lasting relationships with your clients.

The firm will offer genuine and realistic opportunities for progression for any ambitious property solicitors. They really stand out from the crowd for the way in which they treat their staff and aim to ensure that all their staff are comfortable and happy in their roles and are able to reach their full potential. I have placed candidates within roles at this firm previously and the feedback has been extremely positive and progressio nhas been quick for those with ambitions to climb up the career ladder.

The salary will be based on experience and other benefits include up to 30 days holiday + bank holidays and much more.

Company

QED
An acronym of the latin phrase quod erat demonstrandum which translates as "thus it is demonstrated" or "that which was to be demonstrated". It is most often used as an annotation at the end of a complex mathematical, scientific or philosophical argument to show that the author had proven what he had set out to prove. In recent times it has also been translated as "Quite Easily Done".

As a recruiter you have to network and speak to large amounts of people and lots of law firms to really understand the market and have the connections to match people with opportunity quickly when the time arises. A good recruiter needs to be Quick, Excellent and Dynamic in everything that they do. Allow the team at QED to demonstrate what they can do for your firm or your career.
