INTERIM Corporate Governance Manager - NHS
Your new company
This NHS organisation is headquarted in Bolton and is recruiting for a Governance Manager, ideally ICSA qualified, to lead a small corporate governance team and ensure best practice in healthcare governance.
Your new role
You will report into the Head of Corporate Affairs and will be employed on a fixed term contract basis. You will be responsible for a range of corporate governance duties within the nhs sector including statutory compliance, corporate policies and providing high quality board support.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a proven track record of successfully performing in a company secretarial / corporate governance role. You will have strong working knowledge of governance principles with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills as you will be engaging with board members and key stakeholders. You will ideally be ICSA qualified/part-qualified, governance experience within the nhs or public sector would be ideal however company secretarial experience in industry will also be considered.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a fixed term contract as Governance Manager at Band 7 with a full-time equivalent starting salary of c£32,000 plus pro-rated benefits. This role will suit someone with governance experience who is immediately available, there may also be an opportunity to extend the contract or apply for permanent positions for the next financial year.
