Commercial Partner / Senior Associate

An exciting opportunity has arisen in a top commercial law firm for a senior commercial lawyer to join and lead an already thriving commercial department based in Milton Keynes. This is a unique opportunity for a senior lawyer, at Senior Associate / Partner level, to join a leading law firm with outstanding City quality work and an international client base.

This full-service commercial firm offers a comprehensive range of legal services to businesses and private individuals. They act for blue-chip companies, household names, public services and SMEs, entrepreneurs and not-for-profit organisations.

The commercial department offers a full range of legal services to business clients from major national corporations to owner-managed businesses. Due to the firms reputation for delivering quality legal service, the department has grown organically in recent years and is now looking for an ambitious, driven and commercially focused individual that can spearhead the firms commercial department. The successful individual will be the lead contact for clients as well as taking on the most challenging commercial matters.

You will manage a team of 3 high-quality Associate solicitors, providing advice and leadership when necessary. You will take client ownership so it is essential that you have outstanding client management skills.

The commercial team handles a full range of work that may include: IP, Contracts, Supply chain agreements, Outsourcing, Commercial Agreements etc.

A following is not required, however you will be an experienced commercial lawyer who is able to deliver complex and comprehensive commercial work whilst providing first class client management.
