An experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer is wanted for an exciting Leeds based Technical Lead opportunity with an ambitious, expanding specialist law firm. An ambitious property law specialist my client delivers a high quality legal service to a national client base and has established itself as one of the top ten residential conveyancing providers in England and Wales.

The successful Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer will join a team of very experienced property lawyers, managing complex residential conveyancing transactions and providing technical support and advice to the larger conveyancing team. The Technical Head will be responsible for the management of the team and the shaping policy, risk and compliance in the residential conveyancing department. Day to day duties will include the production of training materials on specific, complex conveyancing topics, conveyancing process improvements, dealing with technical referrals and providing ad hoc technical advice to the legal team.

Applications are invited from business minded Residential Conveyancers looking to move away from fee earning and apply a minimum of 8 years property law experience in a technical capacity. A thorough understanding of freehold, leasehold unregistered, new build and shared ownership transactions will drive sound judgement and the ability to take a commercial view when required.
