Commercial Property Lawyer
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Lawyer to join a local authority in the East Midlands. This is a locum position for at least 3 months with a high possibility for extension.
The successful applicant will be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister of FILEX. However, applications are welcome from non-qualified Lawyers that have the relevant experience.
On a day to day basis you will be expected to deal with all landlord and tenant matters relating to the council. This may include:
- Negotiating leases, preparing and completing rent review memoranda, Licences, Deeds of Easement, Rectification and Variation
- Land registration matters, applications for adverse possession, obtaining title documentation, carrying out searches and applications for registration
- Sales and acquisitions and lease enquiries of both commercial and residential properties.
- Assisting councillors and members of the general public with queries relating to fencing/boundary matters
The position offers an attractive hourly rate of £40-£50ph dependant on you level experience.
