A leading full service law firm in the Channel Islands is seeking a NQ-2 year's pqe Commercial Litigation Lawyer.

The firm provides legal services such as corporate and commercial, funds and private equity, banking and finance, restructuring and insolvency, trusts and fiduciary, commercial and residential property, employment, competition, litigation and dispute resolution.

Their client base includes governments, financial institutions, regulatory bodies, global and national corporations, professional firms and individuals providing the most complex and ground-breaking transactions.

The firm`s commercial litigation lawyers have had many years` experience of advocacy before all the Island courts including the Court of Appeal and Privy Council acting for clients including financial institutions, corporate entities, sovereign governments and individuals.

The team regularly advises on multi-jurisdictional commercial litigation, banking and finance litigation, parallel / cross border insolvency and restructuring; tracing actions, asset freezing, disclosure orders and other pre-trial remedies, trust and probate litigation, including disputes over the validity of transfers to trusts, constructive trusts, variation of trusts and wills, international debt recovery, reciprocal enforcement of judgments and obtaining evidence for the purpose of foreign proceedings, professional negligence, company law including disputes between shareholders and directors, public law including constitutional law, judicial review and administrative law appeals such as planning and compulsory purchase actions.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a background gained either in a City practice or regional firm including corporate dispute resolution, general commercial litigation - banking and finance.
